“ I am tired of of mamak and nasi kandar. Plan to buy chutney for my Idli but end up eating here... Love the food... I feel at home... All their food taste like home cook... They have variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian food.. they have Banana leaf too... Food are afforable..keep it up.... ”
“ We had trouble finding Little India (no clue how we managed to do that) but when we finally did, we were hungry and ready for a light meal. We settled on Seetha Ram, which looked busy and filled with a mix of locals and tourists. It's open 24/7! We dropped in on a late Sunday afternoon (around 3pm). The menu is massive. They had a buffet going on but you can order a la carte. Part of the menu (chicken, mutton, seafood, crab and roti/naan) is only available after 6:00pm. Service was fairly decent. An older waiter took care of us with good English but he never brought us back our change for the meal. - Masala tea ($3.50) - Tea - this came with the set meal and it was even tastier than my friend's masala tea. Yum. This was the best thing from our meal! - Tomato onion uttappam ($5.50 RM) - uttappam was cooked fresh and had a light, fluffy texture. Cheap and tasty. - Mutton set meal ($19.00 RM) - you get rice, two vegetables, dhall, rasam, curd with pappadam, pickles and choice of tea or coffee. Lamb comes in bone but it was tender and a good portion. Vegetables were tasty but both types came out cold. This can easily be shared between two people. - Roti banana ($3.50 RM) - interestingly, it comes with two types of side curry dips even though banana roti is usually considered a dessert. Both worked surprisingly well. Our meal was surprisingly better than expected. 3.5 stars. ”
“ This food is simply delicious. It must be underrated locally because it didn't come up on my searches when I was standing a block away. I noticed how many people were eating and smiling as I walked by so I decided to give it a try. Best decision of my vacation. The food is aromatic and bursting with flavor. The portions are generous and the prices are beyond reasonable. Much of the cooking is done in the open air, streets identified in front of you. No this restaurant isn't fancy or trendy, but is you want some delicious homestyle Indian food that will have you dreaming about a return visit, then this is your place. ”
“ Me and the hubby always come here when we have a craving for Indian food. During lunch you can either choose from an array of dishes to go with your rice or you can opt to have banana leaf rice with a continuous flow of veges. i usually go for their dishes. During lunch and dinner, they serve up to 30 types of vegetarian and 20 types of meat dishes. taking up to five or six vegetables may cost you about RM10. They also have upamma during breakfast time which is delicious. Service is efficient and they have a free flow of papadams. ”
